Dairy Farming in India – Project Cost at a Glance and Banking Norms

To help you understand the economics of dairy farming, I have prepared a summary of the project cost including essential items of investment to maximize the income from the dairy farm with the latest information to my knowledge. The costs indicated below are for a sample project only.

The breeds of the milch animal considered in this cost estimate are graded Murrah buffaloes, Murrah buffaloes, and cross breed cows with an average yield of 10 liters milk per day per animal (LMPDA) for 300 days of lactation cycle & 100 days of dry period.

Based on the lactation chart, the cash flow has been prepared and the financial analysis of the project was done which revealed the following:

I have an ample amount of land in muzaffarnagar. Its hardly far away from the Delhi and i want to start the dairy farm at large scale.In this respect i need to collect or update myself from this industry for example the government provided schemes, banks provided facilities,total investment without land value,training for dairy farm managemnt,estimated cows are 100 ,manpower required,infrastructure and all.

I am interested in starting a dairy farm
please can u guide me with deails that i need to know before i can go ahead with the project..in terms of water sources to be identified,cows n machinery needed,man power,sourcing and processing from other vendors,co-op society?..large scale is the thought process..
in Bihar (barh,patna) is there a place for training?

I am parthasarathi from Tamilnadu, I have a plan to start a Dairy form i have agriculture green land. For buying cows i need some good suggestion like which breed I can go?
