Ban on Japanese Quail Farming

Japanese Quail Farming is banned/prohibited by Ministry of Environment & Forest Govt. of India vide their letter F.No. 3-3/2011/WL.I dated 22.09.2011 (link).

The letter is addressed to all Secretaries, Wild Life Wardens of all States/UTs for not to issue any new license for farming of Japanese Quail (Corturnix japonica).

National bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD) has also issued a circular to all concerned banks to this effect. NB.ICD.2504/PPS-9/2011-12 dated 08 Nov. 2011.

The japanese quil is not a kind living in the wild in india. As well this kind is just like Broiler Chicken. Japanese quils are not having habit of hatching its own egg and it is laying near about 150 - 200 eggs per year. If a farmer starts with 300 quils, he can reach 50000 quils by the end of the year and make near about 10000 rupees as monthly income. inThis kind of quils can reduce the shortage of Meat supply in india. so the government should cancel the order far bann. Do not make the former poor and por again.

It will be better , if you can approach the central Govt. Dept.of AH & Poultry & explain them what you want to say. Poultry farmers will be happy, if you can do something for them. ok

so many farmers depend on quail farming which help in poverty elevation and also contributing for food production. hence government must cancel ban on quail farming

I am newcommer , want to enter this field. but when i read BAN ON QUAIL FARMING , I got hope less, what decision should I take ,I got unstable. govt should re think about ban.

In this way, it order custom essay would be a very big loss for them who invested in that field. I don’t agree with the decision of the government it is really not right. Although people are doing some illegal tasks and doing the wrong thing in quail farming but still it would be a big loss for the investor.
